Annotated directory · Phu Quoc, An Giang
Phu Quoc links, each with a note and a check date
An annotated directory for people planning a trip to Phu Quoc, the island that became a special zone of An Giang province on 1 July 2025. Every link says who publishes it, what you will find there and the day an editor last opened it.
What you will find here
Phu Quoc Links is a directory, not a guidebook. Each page collects the websites a traveller actually needs before and during a trip to Phu Quoc — the special zone's own portal, the airport, the ferry lines, the hospitals, the immigration portal, the apps that work on the island — and adds a short note on what each one is good for and where it falls short.
An editor opens every link before it is listed; a link that does not load is left out, or, for a government source too important to drop, kept with a note saying so. Beside each link you will see a label for the kind of source and the date of the check.
Official sources
Special zone portal, An Giang province, the national park, the airport and the port authority. Open the list.
Visa and entry
The 30-day Phu Quoc exemption, the government e-visa portal and the legal texts behind them. Read the links.
Ferries and airlines
Fast boats and the car ferry from Rach Gia and Ha Tien, the airlines named by the airport. See operators.
Health and emergencies
Emergency numbers, the hospitals the special zone lists, and where to report a problem. Who to call.
Tour companies
Companies whose websites showed Phu Quoc trips when we checked, grouped by need, A to Z. Browse the directory.
Apps and maps
Ride-hailing, the bus route lookup, maps, the official weather service and exchange rates. Open the list.
How to read a listing
| Label | Meaning | Example |
|---|---|---|
| Official | Published by a government body, a public hospital, or the operator of public infrastructure such as the airport or a port | phuquoc.angiang.gov.vn |
| Company | Published by a business about its own service: an airline, a ferry line, a private hospital, a tour company, an app | thanhthoi.vn |
| Press | A news report we rely on for one fact, usually because no official page states it in a form we could read | tuoitre.vn |
The date beside a link is the day an editor opened that page and read the part we describe. Timetables, fares and visa lists change without notice, so treat any figure here as a reference to confirm with the source before you pay or travel.
Names that changed in 2025
Many websites, signs and booking systems still describe Phu Quoc as a city of Kien Giang province. That stopped being true on 1 July 2025. Under National Assembly Resolution 202/2025/QH15, Kien Giang and An Giang were merged into one province named An Giang. Under Resolution 1654/NQ-UBTVQH15 the former Phu Quoc city — the wards of Duong Dong and An Thoi and the communes of Duong To, Ham Ninh, Cua Duong, Bai Thom, Ganh Dau and Cua Can — became Phu Quoc Special Zone. Tho Chau, the island group far to the south-west, became a special zone of its own.
In practice you will meet both sets of names: the car ferry company, the maritime port authority and the national park's own overview page all still say Kien Giang. On this site we use the current names and add the former one where it helps you match an address.
Sources: SGGP — An Giang forms special zones after the merger (30 Jun 2025); SGGP — Phu Quoc officially becomes a special zone (1 Jul 2025); Government policy portal — Resolution 1654/NQ-UBTVQH15, full text; Thạnh Thới — timetable and fares; Phu Quoc National Park — overview · checked .
Links by area

When this directory is not the right tool
If you need one answer fast — whether a boat leaves this afternoon, whether a room is free tonight — go straight to the operator; we do not see live data and do not take bookings. If someone is hurt or in danger, call 115 for an ambulance or 113 for the police before you open any website.
This is not a full travel guide or a news site either. To report a dead link or suggest a source, use the form at the foot of any page; the about page explains how links are chosen and removed.
Common questions
Questions readers send
Does Phu Quoc Links sell tours or tickets?
No. The site lists links and notes. It does not sell tours, tickets or rooms and does not take bookings or deposits.
How often are the links checked?
Each page shows the date of its last check. The whole directory was last checked on 12 October 2026.
Why do some official pages still say Kien Giang?
Kien Giang province was merged into An Giang on 1 July 2025, and Phu Quoc became a special zone on the same day. Many pages written before then have not been updated, including some on government websites. The current name is Phu Quoc Special Zone, An Giang province.
Which number do I call in an emergency on Phu Quoc?
115 for a medical emergency, 113 for the police and 114 for fire and rescue. These are national numbers, not numbers of this site.
